With the VDC Managed service, Interoute will manage your virtual machines up to the operating system together with the platform to provide a solution based service level. This includes the full provisioning, monitoring, management and any fault resolution or incident management for any issues with the virtual machine.
Interoute provides customers a view of the monitoring through the Interoute MyServices Portal. The Interoute MyServices Portal enables users to monitor core system performance, statistics for SLA measurement, backup detail, and application performance (according to the services deployed). The Hosting Dashboard gives a high level view of core utilisation statistics. Further information on elements such as memory, processor, volume and swap usage, packets in/out and number of processes running can be viewed on a server by server basis and can be viewed on a scale from one hour to three months.
Interoute can also incorporate the performance monitoring of the operating system if required and, equally, the monitoring alerts can be configured to alert the internal customer support teams to give added value to the Interoute monitoring solution.
In addition to the 24x7 real-time, proactive monitoring that is taking place continuously, Interoute will also deliver scheduled health checks and reports.
