Interoute owns Europe’s largest and most densely connected pan-European voice and data network. Our enormous fibre networks effectively act to virtualise a single IP/Media switch, which extends from New York and Washington to the top of the Baltics, down into the Middle East, and including North Africa. As such, it's probably the biggest of its kind geographically, not withstanding our considerable bandwidth capabilities. This spread, together with our extensive peering relationships and exchange presences means that your off-net customers are likely to be one 'network' hop away from Interoute.

The benefit of this is that we get our traffic across our network as quickly as possible, so the latency across the virtual switch is negligible. You will never need to serve 'stale' cached content again. Interoute customers also avoid the issue of performance-impacting local cache overflows. Interoute’s network performance will always avoid situations where local users traverse the CDN 'backbone' slowly to search for another node to deliver content. Interoute owns it’s own transmission and IP networks, and peer / interconnect with a variety of other network and CDN providers, so our customers can benefit from our multiple Tier-One uplinks for Global distribution to end users.
