High Availability

The Interoute SDH and wavelength platforms that are used for Fast Trade are both able to offer the option of circuit protection which can provide diversity down to the duct level. This is not always possible if two unprotected circuits were to be purchased from two different service providers. Both Interoute platforms use fibre which is monitored using advanced telemetry indicators which can detect stressed fibre before it breaks and can pin-point cuts to the nearest five metres facilitating preventative maintenance and reducing restoration times.
