What is the Workflow Gateway?
Rather than supplying an application (and all the security/compatibility issues involved) the Interoute Workflow Gateway provides a set of delivery instructions which can be incorporated into your own digital workflows exactly how you want them to be.
As long as your workflow can include an XML export, and you can specify the fields, you may have everything you need to use the Media Manager Workflow Gateway already.
Defining a workflow involves two steps:
1. Generating an XML file describing one or many clips. This file must conform the schema "WorkflowGateway.xsd"
2. Uploading the xml and media files to an ftp account on a Media Manager ingest server. The media files must be uploaded before the xml file. We will supply you with the FTP details needed.
