Hewlett-Packard (HP) has launched its new TouchSmart PC range, it has been reported.
The firm claims its second-generation touchscreen models have bigger screens and twice the amount of memory as the previous range, according to PC Pro.
HP's IQ504 and IQ506 will come complete with a 22-inch widescreen display and 4GB of RAM and feature an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and a choice of 320GB or 500GB hard drive.
The new TouchSmarts replacing the award-winning first generation released last May will be available next month, and although a US price of $1,299 has been announced no UK prices have been released yet.
Meanwhile, at the beginning of the year Apple launched its MacBook air a laptop that is just three-quarters of an inch thick with a 13.3-inch LED screen.

It claims the Voodoo Envy 133 is 0.7 inches thick and weighs 1.54kg.
