Businesses 'should consider managed VoIP services'

Larger European businesses should consider making use of managed VoIP services, industry experts have claimed.

Website tmcnet.com explained that managed VoIP services were "a God-send" for firms considering making the switch from traditional communication systems to news IP-based telecom networks.

The site explained that the running of VoIP networks requires "certain special skill sets that are in short supply".

"It takes quite a lot of effort on the part of the corporate users wanting to change to Voice over IP to do it using their own resources," the site added.

"Managed VoIP services often become the best available option. The technical resources are delivered by the providers of the managed partitioning services."

Overall, the website suggested that it was important businesses opt for managed VoIP systems from suppliers that "understand the vision of the company going in for the change and be ready to support them with the technical expertise at their disposal".
