"JONAH"- the 2,300km submarine cable - will connect Israel to Europe using Interoute’s pan-European fibre optic network from the Interoute landing station in Bari, Italy.

11 May, 2011May 11, 2011 -- Interoute, owner operator of Europe's largest advanced next-generation network, today announced that it has achieved Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification for its London data centre. PCI DSS is a security standard for online credit card transactions set out by the PCI Security Standard Council, founded by leading credit card organisations including American Express, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa.
