The Interoute technical facilities comprises of over 100,000m2 of built-out space ranging from Tier 1 to our world class Tier 3/4 data centres. The Interoute Colocation service is backed by market leading SLAs and our facilities connect to over 100 cities including 21 metropolitan area networks. Housing equipment in an Interoute facility provides you with both the service assurance you require and the benefit of low cost access to one of Europe's largest voice and data networks.

A flexible alternative for your housing needs - Interoute Colocation

Interoute's data centres are state-of-the-art facilities that use the latest technologies for fire detection and suppression, temperature and humidity control, security systems, uninterruptible power supply and sophisticated network management and monitoring. They provide the highest infrastructure reliability and availability in the industry with dedicated staff available to provide skilled hands & eyes services. Our products include:

Rack Spaces: Interoute provide power and service connection to a floor space where a customer can install their own cabinet.

Cabinets: Interoute provide a lockable cabinet within the Shared Colocation Area with power and service connection provisioned.

Sub-Cabinet Services: This is a lockable cabinet partitioned into a mixture of half and quarter cabinets and serviced via independent N+1 power and cable feeds. 

Private Suites: Private suites are provided on a bespoke basis to meet your individual requirements. Interoute will provide turnkey services to build the cage, supply power and service connection.

Private Builds: Interoute can locate, acquire, build out and operate colocation sites on behalf of customers looking for large turn-key solutions.

Hands & Eyes Service: Hands and Eyes service is available at Interoute's data centre sites, whereby Interoute technicians will perform a range of remote activities on behalf of customers looking to optimise their operational overhead whilst maintaining maximum coverage.

Cabling: Interoute's in-building cabling service provides additional connections within the Interoute facility to meet the customer's needs. This includes both optical and electrical private lines to Interoute's metro services, 3rd party carriers and other colocating customers within the facility. All connections are made within the meet me room.

All Colocation facilities are constantly monitored 24 x 7 by Interoute's Network Operations Centre (NOC), which also co-ordinates the activities of Interoute's engineers located across the Interoute Network ensuring fast service response times. Each facility is installed with VESDA plus ionisation and optical detectors linked to the NOC, with fire suppression being carried out by an inert gas complying with local standards.

Complete client control: Total access to your servers and equipment is assured at all times and at our data centre sites we can provide first level technical assistance. Access to our sites is, at all times monitored and controlled by staff at the NOC. Perimeters and access points are alarmed and constantly monitored at our NOC via a Building Management System, with Personal Detection devices installed at sites, monitoring movement within the building.

Continually powered: AC & DC power is provided at all Interoute Colocation sites as standard.  Both power systems are designed with resilience in mind with N+1 provision on all key elements including UPS and Rectifiers, with initial Battery Back up, and Generator facilities available for instances of prolonged supply loss.
