Fast Trade is a high quality bandwidth service specifically designed for our Finance sector customers who require extremely low latency and low packet loss on links between two locations. The Fast Trade product is ideal for supporting Automated Trading Systems and those companies using the latest Algorithmic trading technology. Interoute's dense fibre routes across Europe allow Fast Trade circuits to take very direct routes between Automated trading locations, giving the lowest possible latency leading to orders from customers like Quant House as well as several other major banks.
Ethernet, Wavelength or SDH interfaces are available to deliver critical Algorithmic trading traffic across 20 mainland European countries as well as Gibraltar, Dubai, USA and Russia. Fast Trade is available in more than two hundred of our points-of-presence including nine key Equinix sites. Interoute's Fast Trade network supports the requirements of those seeking ultra low latency for their Automated Trading Technology and Algorithmic trading systems.
Fast Trade is backed by a premium service level agreement, such that if the latency guarantee is not achieved either at service handover or during the term of the contract you have the right to cancel the service without further charge.
The lead time for delivery of the service can be as low as ten working days, enabling you to quickly adapt to changing needs for bandwidth.
Extremely low latency - Fast Trade
Fast Trade is a point to point service available via Ethernet, SDH or Wavelength interfaces. Circuits take the shortest path between end points, which also ensures that optimal latency is achieved and as the bandwidth is dedicated, the latency does not vary during the working day. Bandwidth options are from 100Mbps/STM-1 up to 10Gbit/s.
The contractual round trip delay of Fast Trade circuits is based on the exact route that the circuit will take and is measured before handover to the nearest 100 microseconds. This forms the basis of the premium service level agreement and easy cancellation clauses underpinning the service.
Fast Trade circuits receive special priority treatment and will not be re-routed at any point during the contract ensuring that the route-specific round trip delay does not vary due to the circuits taking a longer path between end points. Records of any routine maintenance work carried out are available for auditing purposes upon request.
