Siebel Developer

The role:

• Understand business requirements, design, build and test siebel application.
• Enhance a customized Siebel solution in UI, integration and functional areas. 
• Handling queries from end users on application usage and resolving usability/ data problems 
• Work with senior developers during development life cycle to develop and test new functionality

The person:

• English speaking
• Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), interfacing with both IT and business teams. 
• Excellent prioritization skills 
• Ability to meet SLAs and communicate effectively with end users. 
• Team player with ability to work with a diverse team

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Person should have at least 3 years experience in IT with minimum 1.5 years in following skills:

• Siebel 7.5 or higher: Support and development of Siebel application. (preferably 7.8) 
• Should have participated in full lifecycle projects on Siebel application. 
• Proficient in Siebel configuration, browser and server scripting (eScript) 
• Hands on experience with EAI, Workflows, Application and Data Administration 
• Knowledge of Siebel Order Management, Account Management 
• Knowledge of Siebel architecture and database structure. 
• Hands on experience with Installation and configuration of Siebel client and tools. 
• Knowledge of RDBMS concepts, SQL Server (2000 or higher), should be able to write and execute queries on the database. 
• Ability to work after hours or on-call as required.
